  • What types of pets does Cottonwood Kennels care for?

    We provide boarding and daycare services for dogs, cats, and small animals like rabbits, guinea pigs, and birds.

  • What are the boarding options for dogs?

    We offer spacious indoor/outdoor runs, comfortable sleeping areas, and personalized activities including private exercise, playgroups, and pasture walks.

  • Do you offer daycare services?

    Yes! We offer daycare for dogs, cats, and small animals.

  • What amenities are available for cats?

    Cats at Cottonwood Kennels enjoy quiet, individual condos in a climate-controlled space, with plenty of natural light, climbing shelves, and soothing music to promote a stress-free environment.

  • How often are pets exercised and monitored?

    Dogs receive exercise multiple times a day, with options available for one-on-one play sessions, group play, or nature walks. All pets are monitored by staff to ensure their safety and wellbeing.

  • Can I bring my pet's belongings?

    Yes! Keep in mind we can provide everything your pet needs like premium food and luxury bedding. You can certainly bring your pet's food in any resealable container (like a Ziploc bag or Tupperware). We recommend leaving your pet's own bedding or sentimental items at home.

  • What happens if my pet needs medical attention during their stay?

    We have emergency protocols in place as well as access to veterinary care. You and your designated veterinarian or a local on call vet will be contacted if care is needed.

  • How do you ensure a safe and clean environment?

    We maintain strict cleanliness protocols, with daily cleaning and sanitation of all areas. Pets are also closely monitored in our group play and boarding areas.

  • Are tours of the facility available?

    Yes! We encourage prospective customers to come tour of our facility between the hours of 9AM and 12PM and meet our staff to ensure you're comfortable with our environment and services.

  • What vaccinations are required?

    We require all pets to be up to date on vaccinations:

    • Dogs must have current rabies, distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations. 
    • Cats must have current rabies and feline distemper (FVRCP) vaccinations. 
  • Can my pet visit if they are not spayed or neutered?

    Yes, we allow pets to come if they are not spayed or neutered. They can even participate in group play up until they are 7 months old without being altered. After that they will transition to private activities instead.
